Extension deadlines are quickly upon us. S-corps and partnerships are due this week on the 15th. If you haven't already done so, get your information in asap.

Personal returns are due October 15th.
Additional fees will apply to returns received after October 4th.
The idea is for you to get us your information before October please, not us make additional money.

Happy New Year!!

Tax season is right around the corner.
Please note, Jeter Tax has a new address: 9261 Folsom Blvd Ste 703

Newsletters went out yesterday. They should be hitting your mailboxes next week. Be sure to open them and see some of the tax law changed that occurred for Tax Year 2021.

You can access the Jeter Tax portal at www.jetertax.SecurefilePro.com
The password on your account is a password you set up. If you need a reset password email, please give us a call (916) 363-5022 and Victoria will get you all taken care of.

You can start uploading your information whenever you are ready.
Please do not upload to the guest exchange but instead upload to the account with your username and password.

Unfortunately, due to the rapid spread of Omicron this year, we are currently not making any appointments in the office again this year. We miss you all and hope this will get under control soon so we can go back to meeting with you and sharing life experiences.

Tony has officially retired. You will see him around the office but not to do tax returns. He wants to continue catching up with clients and keeping the friendships he has developed over the past 40 years. When you stop by, make sure to ask for him and say hi.

Extension season is upon us. If you filed an extension you need to know:
1. Office hours are 9am to 3pm Monday thru Friday(subject to change based on our vacation time).
2. If you normally see Tony, you will have to see Angela or Michael. Tony is “retired” May to December. That means he is unavailable to do your extension.
3. Michaels appointment hours are Monday thru Thursday 10-4
4. Angela’s appointment hours are Tuesdays 10-2 and Thursdays 10-4.
5. There is a $150 additional tax prep fee if you wait until October 1st to get us your information. That fee goes up to $250 if you wait until October 9th.
6. You can always mail, email or fax your information if you would prefer.
7. The office is not open October 15th. This means everything must be completed and filed by the 14th.

Extension deadlines are coming up. Nonprofit extentens are sure August 15, Corporation extensions are due September 15 and personal October 15th.
Tony is only in the office on Wednesday’s. That’s means only 9 more days of appointments left with him before due dates. If you wait until October you will be charged an additional $150 AND you will not be guaranteed an Appointment with him.
Michael is available Monday they Thursday. Angela is only available Wednesday’s and thursdays. She will be out if the office October 2 they October 10 and will not be taking appointments when she returns.
Get your returns done sooner than later. Call and make your appointment today.
