The IRS announced that they will be open for e-Filing for individual income tax returns on January 29th and my software company says January 27th but there’s no need to wait that long.

Woo Hoo! I just passed the IRS's 2025 Annual Federal Tax Refresher exam. I still have a few continuing education courses to work through but am almost done with those as well.

I'm excited and am looking forward to the new tax season and seeing everyone again.

Wendy Ramsey you are amazing!

So everyone, listen up and let me tell you why Wendy is so amazing.

I had some serious pain in my neck and shoulder for the last 3 weeks. I was miserable.

I had no idea what to do. I had gone to the doctor and all he wanted to do was give me a steriod shot, which I did then paid for it with even more pain.

A couple friends suggested it could be a pinched nerve and to have a massage done. Well my first thought was of Wendy and OMGosh! It was the perfect thing to do!

For the first time in 3 weeks I was able to lay down and sleep.

I woke up at 1:30 and was so worried that the paid was back but she pointed me to some exercises and gave great advice on what to do.

It worked and I am so thankful for to her.

If anyone ia suffering from mild to severe pain, send her a message. It was the best thing I ever did.

Tax Tip: Avoid Identity Theft Part II

Have you ever received an email from a friend or a company that sounds familiar but when you open it, it doesn't personally address you with a Hi or Hello followed by your name? And there's always a link the sender wants you to click on for some awesome prize?

That's a main tell-tale that your friend's email account was hacked. You could and should let your friend know and suggest they change their email password to prevent it from happening to everyone in their contact list.

Always confirm the sender's email address by moving your mouse over their name in the FROM field. Give it a second and you'll notice a pop-up with the address. If it doesn't look right, it probably isn't.

An example: I received an email from Apple. When I mouse over the name field, the address is [email protected]. Clearly that is not a valid Apple email address.

Other addresses contain many characters and are from gmail.com or other personal email accounts. You should be able to tell it's not someone you know or that they are trying to make you believe it's someone you do business with.

Don't click the link. Mark the email as spam. Move on.
