I was on Fox Business (thanks for having me!) yesterday morning talking about inflation. It’s become the #1 topic these days when it comes to our money. At almost 8%, everyone is feeling it.
Remember a few things:
1. Focus on what you can control. When your paycheck hits your account, where is it going? Do you have a plan/budget for it?
2. Where can you cut? Subscriptions you aren’t using, memberships going unused, where you shop for groceries, not going out to eat as much, etc.
3. Relook at a few things to create more cash. Shop all your insurance policies and getting cheaper options, tax withholdings from your paycheck if you had a big refund last year, etc.
More than ever it’s time to get control of your income, become debt free, and have an emergency fund! You can do it!
