Most people overpay taxes because they ask their CPA these questions too late.
If you’re close to filing, these are real last-minute questions that still change your tax bill — not theory, not loopholes 👇
Ask your CPA:
1️⃣ “Am I missing any deductions because I paid personal expenses through my bank account instead of my business?”
(Most people do this wrong and lose deductions.)
2️⃣ “Do I qualify for the QBI deduction — and if not, what’s stopping me?”
(This alone can be a 20% swing on business income.)
3️⃣ “Should I be filing an extension to create more time for deductions or planning?”
(Filing early isn’t always cheaper.)
4️⃣ “Am I leaving money on the table by staying a sole proprietor instead of an S-Corp?”
(Especially if you made over ~$50–75k.)
5️⃣ “Did I miss any credits or write-offs just because I didn’t track them properly during the year?”
(Office, phone, vehicle, home office, depreciation.)
These are basic questions — but most people never ask them until it’s too late.
