And some of us now carry those lessons forward as fathers ourselves, doing our best to guide the next generation with the same steady love.

Our team had the privilege of volunteering at the Special Olympics Illinois 2026 Region C Team Soccer Tournament. The determination, resilience, and teamwork on the fields were a powerful reminder of what it means to show up for one another.

Tom Canale volunteered alongside his son, Brendan continuing a 30-year commitment to supporting families who have a loved one with special needs. This work has shaped his career and remains central to our firm’s mission and the way we serve.

We were also joined by Adam Checchin, a longtime Special Olympics volunteer and foundation board member, former special education teacher, and financial advisor on our team. His lived experience brings invaluable perspective to the families we support.
