For those of you who may not know, about two and a half years ago—after nearly 27 wonderful years at General Motors—I took a leap of faith and began a new chapter as a Financial Advisor.
Ten of my last years at GM were spent in Program Management, working on a multi-billion-dollar program, and I’m deeply grateful for the experiences, opportunities, and incredible colleagues along the way. I accepted a buy-out package that allowed me to pursue a career I had been prayerfully considering for nearly five years.
It was a true blessing to be able to stay home with our two sons while my wife worked—and continues to work—at Daniel Axford Elementary as a Spanish teacher. During that time, I committed myself to learning and growth. During that time, I completed the SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 exams to enter the financial industry as a financial advisor.
A huge thank-you to Greg, Taylor, and everyone at Tarr Financial for welcoming me and helping me get started—especially Greg, who has not only been my financial advisor for the past 15 plus years but also more of a friend to myself and parents.
I truly could not have done this without my wife, Megan, my helpmeet, whose unwavering love and support made this possible. Above all, I give thanks to my Lord Jesus Christ—in Him all things are possible.
I’m excited for this new chapter and for the opportunity to help others navigate their financial journeys. If you’re curious about working together or simply want to have a conversation about your financial goals, feel free to reach out anytime at 586-752-0100.
