Well you procrastinators, you have a few more weeks to file your taxes. If you live in Georgia, Alabama, the Carolinas and parts of Tennessee and Virginia your new deadline is May 1st.

An emergency declaration is giving Georgia taxpayers a little more time to file both their state and federal income taxes.

BOI reporting update!!

If you have not already filed your beneficial ownership information (BOI) report, then you can procrastinate a little longer. There was an injunction issued with the courts and under the injunction the BOI reporting rule cannot be enforced and companies are not required to comply.

If you have already filed, you can ignore this, but if you have not then you can disregard for now.

Let me know if you have any questions! At least now you can mark one thing off your to do list and get something else done. 😃

11 years. It still doesn’t seem real. It has been 11 years ago today that we opened our doors and started this journey. I cannot begin to say thank you for all your trust and patience with me over the years. Your loyalty and friendships mean more than I could ever say. To hear a new client come in and tell me they had been referred to us by a friend or family is what means the most. It means that you were happy enough to keep coming back and to say go over there and she will take care of you. Thank you does not seem adequate enough for your support. Thank you for the friendships that we have made and the new ones yet to be made. I pray year 12 is even better!

If you are as floored as I am about the property tax assessments, file an appeal!!! Here is the form used to file it. I could not find it on the assessor's website, so I thought I would make sure everyone had access to it!

10 years ago today, the beginning of a journey began. I could never have imagined what it would look like today. I cannot say thank you enough to the clients who have come to see me over the years. So many of you have become like family. Thank you for trusting me to take care of you and for continuing to promote my business and recommending people to come see me. That is the biggest compliment of all!!

Thank you to those who came out today to see me, sent flowers and gifts and the amazing words that have been sent to me over the past few days. I am humbled by the love and truly feel unworthy. Thank you for making today so special for me.

Lastly I want to say thanks to my husband, Luis. You are the one who has been my constant support and encouragement these last 10 years. Luis you are the reason today happened and why I get to do what I love every day. Thank you for everything you have done and what you mean to me.
