Did you know that almost 95% of the people in the United States will die broke? Why is that? Well a large reason is because we’re never taught about money. We are taught how to make it for someone else (work), we are taught how to spend it, save it and more importantly we’re taught the only value it has is to get things we want. All this is backwards!
Do me a favor real fast.
Take a single dollar bill out of your pocket for me. Some of you still do carry cash don’t you?
If you don’t have one then grab a quarter, any coin, I don’t care. Now what do you see when you look at money? A way to pay bills? Buy that new house or car? A way to buy food and other basic necessities of life?
Let me tell you what a Hustler sees when they look at a dollar. They see a hand full of dollars. They understand that money should be used to make more money first. Everything else comes after that. A Hustler is willing to sacrifice comfort now, for greater comfort later. And later is the time when they have the extra money to do so.
The Purpose & Philosophy of “The Flip”
That dollar or nickel and quarter you see must be made to make more of itself. That dollar should not “die” before it “multiplies”. That one dollar must be made into three dollars. One of those three dollars is used to re-invest in yourself or business to keep it running.
The second dollar should be put aside to grow your business (investing for the future). And that third dollar is what you live off of. Think about that for a moment. Every time you spend a dollar without “flipping” it first (making that dollar grow into more), you are literally cutting your own throat financially. Period, end of story. You must learn, like I did, that it’s not about saving money. It’s about having your money make you money. Once you get on that level, you are on the road to financial freedom.
Do not misread me here. Yes, you need to enjoy yourself! You need to treat yourself, your family and loved ones, just realize that for the long-term, you must learn to flip money.
And eventually have it flip itself; have your money make money. “Scared money doesn’t make money.
