Attention to all clients who had their tax prep fees held out of their returns!

Metabank is the bank who takes care of these fees and then deposits the rest of the return to your bank account.

The IRS deposited your funds to Metabank rather than your bank account. Metabank does not have the authorization to process these funds and send them to you. This is due to it being a stimulus check and not a tax return. These funds will be returned to the IRS and you will be sent a paper check.

We are here to help you in any way possible.

Continue to check at irs.gov/Coronavirus/get-my-payment. There may be an option for you to update your bank account information so that you can avoid having to wait to a paper check.

Click “Get my payment” and enter your information.

Info regarding Economic Impact Payments (Stimulus Checks). You can now file a simple return. This includes anyone who was not required to file a tax return due low income or NO income. If you are a social security recipient the IRS already has your information, but if you have any questions please give us a call.
