Important Update for Business Owners 🚨

This morning, a federal court issued a pause on the BOI (Beneficial Ownership Information) reporting requirement. The court's reasoning? They believe that regulations concerning entities should be handled at the state level, not by the federal government.

The ruling argues that federal authorities may be overstepping their role by requiring business owners to report their ownership interests.

⚠️ What This Means for You:

BOI reporting is paused for now.

However, this decision could still be overturned, so stay informed and prepared for possible changes.

Still file so that you are covered either way. This may be a set-up‼️

This may seem simple, but so many Businesses are missing this step.

If you are not keeping track of your expenses, or putting them on your personal credit card when tax time rolls around, how are you going to remember those expenses? Did that expense even happen? Not if it is not recorded properly!

My advice to you today is to make sure that is keeping track of your expenses, hire a bookkeeper, or bare minimum, keep separate bank and credit cards for personal and business.
