Child Care Principles in Action Family Conferencing- Establishing & Maintaining Relationships
The Parent/Teacher Conference is one of the most effective ways to engage with parents/guardians in
the sharing of information about their child’s development and any areas of concern. Effective
Conferences are the result of ongoing communication with parents and the sharing of documentation
from observations conducted over time of their child. This class will provide you with resources and
opportunity to explore some techniques for information gathering as you prepare to conduct one (1)
parent teacher conference with a family currently using your early care and education services. (10
