We are proud to congratulate Lauren Sit and Mary Greer on officially earning their CPA licenses! Retirement done the Bob Cunningham way.

We celebrated our former managing partner and founding force of GranthamPoole with a luncheon full of laughs, plaid, and plenty of callbacks. Over the years, Bob has been an exceptional sport- rocking everything from a KISS band member to an ear of corn costume for our busy season parties- so it only felt right to bring back some of our greatest costume hits, from Napoleon Dynamite and beyond.

Even better, we were thrilled to welcome several of our retired partners and Bob’s wife, Anne, to help us celebrate an incredible career. And yes, we all wore plaid in honor of Bob’s signature workday style.

Bob, thank you for leading with humor, heart, and unwavering dedication. Enjoy retirement. You’ve earned it!

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our second time intern and soon to be full time staff accountant, Reed Travelstead, who was honored at the Mississippi College School of Business Awards Ceremony with three prestigious awards, including the program’s top recognition.

It was a great day to watch Reed’s hard work, leadership, and dedication recognized in such a meaningful, well-deserved way!
We’d also like to give a special shout-out to some of our other outstanding interns from MC Laura Cangelosi and Ni Van, who received recognition as well.

📣 Mississippi Tax Relief Update: The IRS announced a June 8, 2026 tax deadline extension due to Winter Storm Fern, but IRS systems and most tax software haven’t fully caught up. To avoid automatic notices or delays, we recommend clients continue filing returns or extensions by April 15, unless there’s a special circumstance. We’re monitoring guidance closely and will share updates as they become available.
