The electronic tax return filing season for tax year 2020 has been delayed until February 12, 2021. The first tax filing deadline remains April 15 with the extension deadline remaining on October 15. We have not heard of any extended time to file or pay beyond these dates.

You should still compile and provide your tax prep information to us ASAP as this shortens the period we have to get you filed by the first deadline if that's your preference.

The agency kept the traditional April 15 filing deadline, which was pushed back to July 15 last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
