Motherhood has been the biggest self development adventure of my life (turns out it's not entrepreneurship!)

Not only have I birthed kiddies, I've also birthed visions and created more than I ever dreamed.

I can give you a million reasons why we homeschool, but this is my favorite one

Teaching them freedom of choice.

Here we are at the zoo today because everyone slept poorly last night and this was a good way to reset.

Along the way, we've covered:

Math
Financial literacy
Reading comprehension
And we have a creative writing assignment to do when we get home

I've made lots of choices that don't make sense (hello entrepreneurship 🙋🏽‍♀️) just to live a life of choice. And I can assure you, for all its hardships, it is well worth it to find your life of choice.

The craziest part about answering the call on your life is that you don't have to do it. You have free will. You can see the level you're supposed to reach and nope TF out of there.

Like that scene in Moana, where her ghost grandma says "you're right, if you want to go home, I will go with you"

But when you look in the mirror, will you see who you could be? Or who you've decided to be?

Learning about attachment styles has been such a wild journey. Given the day, maybe I think I'm secure. Or insanely anxious. Or maybe I won't respond cus I'm actually avoidant. Through it all, I'm learning to love parts of myself. Over and over. And to see every instance as a bid for for deep, devotional connection. It's a beautiful thing, of this, I am sure. What have you learned about your attachment styles lately?
