As most of you know, I officially retired April 30th, 2021. I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed working with all of my clients over the past 20+ years.

2021 Tax Season
It's time to prepare for your 2020 Tax Return appointment. Something new to watch for this year. If you received a "Stimulus" check (aka, Economic Impact Payment) you should have received a letter from the White House showing the amount of the check you received. If you did not receive this letter or you did not keep it, look at your bank account and retrieve the amounts.
You should have two (2) checks. First one was $1,200.00 per taxpayer. Second one was $600.00 per taxpayer. If you have dependents under 17 years of age you should have received an extra amount.
There will be additional forms and worksheets in your 2020 Tax Return associated with these changes.

IRS & Franchise Tax Board both have extended the filling deadline, balance due payments and Estimated Tax Payments until July 15, 2020.
Our office will still be open to service you as long as we can.
We will be operating on an appointment basis only. With only one client in our office at a time.
If you would like to drop your tax information off, please call for an appointment. We want to maintain the number of clients in our office.
You can also email or mail your information to us.
Please stay safe and healthy. We will see you before July 15th.

Our tax year finished with 3.5 days of no power last week because of high winds. Our plan was to have everything done by the 10th and picked up and signed by Friday. But it didn't go as planned. Thankful our power was turned back on before the 15th. We are blessed!!

2 more tax returns to finish and I'm done with this years returns.
Today could be the day!

Our power was on for almost 24 hours and then we lost power again!! It was only off 20 minutes or so. But it makes me a little nerves after being with out power for 6 days. I will catch-up, returns will get done!! It's all going to be ok. At least it's still early in the tax season.

For those of you trying to call my office, our power is off, phonelines are down and internet is out. This is day 5 and it looks like it could be at least another day for two.
I've had my phone forwarded to my cell, but service is not always the best.
Hoping to be past this storm soon!!
