💡 Tax Season Tip:
If you’re self-employed, a business owner, or have a side hustle—don’t forget about quarterly estimates and write-offs. Tracking expenses like mileage, home office, supplies, and software subscriptions can significantly lower what you owe.

📌 Keep your receipts organized now—not in April—so you’re not leaving money on the table.

💡 Tax Tip of the Day:
Before you file, double-check your income documents (W-2s, 1099s, side hustle income, interest statements). Missing just one form can delay your refund or trigger IRS notices later.

Pro tip from your tax pro 📊:
If you had multiple jobs, gig income, or sold assets, make sure everything is reported—accuracy today saves stress tomorrow.

File smart. File confident. ✔️

There’s a new federal tax deduction you might be able to use this year! If you or someone you know is 65 or older, the 2026 tax filing rules include an extra deduction just for seniors — up to $6,000 (or $12,000 for couples) in addition to the standard deduction. This could mean lower taxable income and a bigger refund if you qualify! 🧓💰💼
👉 Make sure to ask your tax preparer or tax software about this when you file!

🚨 IRS & the Government Shutdown: What You Need to Know 🚨

The IRS has a plan to keep things running even if the government is partially shut down. They’ve got backup funding that lets most operations continue for at least the first week. If the shutdown lasts longer, some staff might be sent home, which could slow things like phone support, audits, or refunds. ✅

Tax deadlines do not change, so make sure to file and pay on time!!!
