If you worked overtime in 2025, there is a new federal tax deduction that may reduce your taxable income. When dropping off your paperwork or coming in for an appointment, please include the last pay statement you received in 2025. It should show year-to-date totals, including:

Regular wages
Overtime pay
Overtime premium (if shown)

Bringing this document helps us calculate the overtime deduction accurately.

Received a letter from the IRS that includes the amount of advance child tax credit payments you received in 2021?

DON'T THROW IT AWAY!!!

Upload it to the client portal, drop off at the office or bring it to your appointment.

COVID Tax Tip 2022-03, January 5, 2022 — The IRS started issuing information letters to advance child tax credit recipients in December. Recipients of the third round of the Economic Impact Payments will begin receiving information letters at the end of January.
