There is a lot of conflicting advice about paying for your children’s college education. A lot. 😅

Some people believe that if you can afford to pay for all of it, you should.

Other parents insist on creating some financial “skin in the game” for their child, teaching more ownership and responsibility.

Plenty of parents find middle ground. Maybe a nice compromise is having the parent cover tuition while the young adult child pays for his or her living expenses.

At WorthyNest, we believe there isn’t one “right” answer for each family. It’s a personalized decision, dependent upon your values and other family financial priorities.
