Attention Sapphire & Sage clients & fellow tax professionals:

The IRS has temporarily paused HUB testing after their system issued millions of FALSE rejections. This is a system-wide IRS issue — not a client mistake and not a preparer error.

What this means right now:
• ❌ If possible, do not transmit returns at this time, as submitting during the pause may cause processing delays.
• 📂 You can still complete and prepare your return — it simply will not transmit until HUB testing resumes and is finalized.

Tax professionals have been notified and are actively making the necessary adjustments behind the scenes.

🚨 TAX PSA (said with love, not judgment) 🚨

I don’t care if you file your taxes with me, your cousin, TurboTax, or a crystal ball.

But I do care that no one lies to you — because bad tax advice is expensive and stressful.

👉 There is no magical button that “adds credits” to boost your refund.
Credits aren’t made up. They’re earned or qualified for. Period.

💡 Getting a refund doesn’t mean you did anything shady.
A lot of folks get refunds because:
• They paid in more than they owed, or
• They legally qualify for certain credits

📌 Meanwhile, some people owe — and no, it doesn’t mean they failed at life.
It usually means:
• Not enough was withheld, or
• No one helped them plan ahead

That’s not a mistake — that’s a planning problem.

⚠️ Let me be crystal clear (and slightly dramatic):
• Tax resolution can’t fix fraud
