Restaurant Owners 🍔🚚

Did you know that even when delivery platforms like DoorDash or Uber Eats collect sales tax, they typically do NOT remit them?

In many cases:
✔ The platform collects the tax
✔ BUT you still must report the gross sales and remit the tax

The key is making sure your POS reports, merchant deposits, and sales tax filings all reconcile correctly.

This has been a quick “Did You Know?” moment with SRS Accounting Services.

🚧 RAIL ROAD CROSSING CLOSED🚧
We were notified by CSX that the rail road crossings at Keytown rd. in Portland will be closed starting next Monday, July 13 at 8:00 am through Thursday, July 16th due to them working on the Rail Road. Cars WILL NOT be able to cross over.

Did you know that Portland Cares is hosting a vendor market on July 11th? The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Portland Cares building. There will be vendors, food, shopping, and lots of fun. So come and Support Cares, an organization that supports our community. This has been another Did you know moment with SRS? .
