The IRS is holding as much as $14 billion in unclaimed refunds owed to taxpayers who did not file their 2015 income tax returns. These filers have until April 15th, 2019 to file in order to claim their 2015 refunds. After that date, any refunds will remain in the US coffers.

I file income tax returns and often work with people who have fallen behind with their income tax filing. Feel free to contact me if you need assistance getting caught up. I've been doing this for well over 20 years and understand how people get behind on their filing. The sooner the better because the deadline to file and get a 2015 refund is less than 3 weeks away.
