Highland Investment Advisors is looking for an advisor with 2–5+ years of experience who wants to take on meaningful responsibility and long-term opportunity.

This role includes a transition of an existing client base over the next 2–3 years along with expectations for proactive business development. The right candidate enjoys building financial plans, clearly explaining investment strategy, and developing long-term client relationships.

Series 65 required and CFP® (or progress toward these) preferred. An existing book of business is a plus.

This year, Highland will cross a milestone: 20 years in business. 🎉

When we started, the goal was simple: do right by clients. We believed then, and still do, that clients deserve more humanity and more rigor than the industry normally offers. Thoughtful advice. Disciplined investing. Authentic, long-term relationships.

Over the years, the firm has changed in all the ways it needed to. What began as a solo advisor practice and has grown to 11 team members. Better systems have enabled deeper planning and higher standards. What hasn’t changed is the mindset: long-term thinking, low ego, and a focus on doing the work the right way.

Today, we’re less interested in growth for growth’s sake and more focused on impact. Deeper relationships. Planning that drives decisions. A team that’s empowered, curious, and proud of what they do.
