As we honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 19th, we wanted to take a moment to share some of our favorite accounts of Dr. King’s life and legacy:
🔵"My Life with Martin Luther King, Jr." by Coretta Scott King
🔵"King: A Life" by Jonathan Eig
🔵"The Autobiography of Martin Luther King, Jr." edited by Clayborne Carson
If you’re looking for more ways to honor the day, you can visit thekingcenter.org for ideas, events, and resources.
Please note that in honor of the holiday, our office is closed on Monday, January 19th. We’ll be back on Tuesday, January 20th, and look forward to connecting with you then.

A dream of equality of opportunity, of privilege and property widely distributed; a dream of a land where men will not take necessities from the many to give luxuries to the few; a dream of a land where men will not argue that the color of a man's skin determines the content of his character; a dream of a nation where all our gifts and resources are held not for ourselves alone, but as instruments of service for the rest of humanity; the dream of a country where every man will respect the dignity and worth of the human personality. That is the dream..."
