The work the NJS team provides is considered an essential service, and our office remains opens so we can prepare tax returns and handle the many other tasks our clients need. Rest assured that we’re following protocols to keep everyone healthy. You’ve probably heard that both the Federal and State authorities have extended the filing deadlines for income tax returns. We’re not slowing down our work, because we want to ensure our clients receive any tax refunds as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the deadline for your return or estimated tax payments, please call or email us, and we’ll respond promptly. Please join the NGS team in congratulating Scott Geans, who is leaving to take on a new challenge as Chief Financial Officer with Parkdale Center, a company focused on helping professionals recover from opioid and other addictions. We’ve enjoyed working with Scott, have become great friends over the years, and we wish him all the best. With his departure, Scott has sold his share of our firm to his partners, Sandy Jones and Jason Stucky. The NGS Team spent a half day with the Indiana Department of Revenue (IDR) touring the processing center and downtown operations.

Thank you, Bob Grennes for the fantastic experience.

Also spent an hour learning about phase 1 of the IN TIME (Indiana Taxpayer Information Management Engine) to be launched on 9/3/19.

A clean, simple, and powerful system that will transform how tax professionals interact with taxpayers and the IDR.
