Hello!

You are all friends, valued clients, employees, colleagues, or otherwise supportive of the work we’ve been doing at 412mgmt over the past couple of years and we are incredibly grateful for your partnership.

When I started on this business journey, I had no idea what would happen. What began as me toiling away in my attic, doing the books for a small handful of early clients, has now turned into a growing small business with a team of four employees serving nearly 40 small businesses and families.

As the business has grown, so has the scope of what we do and how we help our clients. To that end, the name 412mgmt was no longer serving us. The name is obviously geographically specific (Pittsburgh area code) and doesn’t really tell any kind of story about the company. So now I am happy to introduce you to Zoar Finance. What does that mean? Well, zoar is a rather obscure word with connotations of a fortress, a refuge, a shelter. Zoar Finance exists to provide those things to our clients within the context of accounting - not something traditionally thought of as comforting. In fact, our new tagline is “Safety in Numbers”.

Feel free to check out our updated website (zoarfinance.com). You’ll see a little blurb there about our newest product offering - Personal CFO Services. We’re really excited about this product and have already received some great feedback from early adopters.

You can still reach each of us at our .com email addresses, those will continue to work but you can now also reach us by using .com for the email address. It’s possible you might catch a reference to 412mgmt here and there. We’re working to make sure we get all of those cleaned up, but it’s possible missed some.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t remind you that we are still taking new clients, so please feel free to pass along our information to any small business owners that might need some help with their bookkeeping and accounting!

Please congratulate and say hello to our new bookkeeper, Deirdre.

Deirdre is a Pittsburgh native currently residing in South Florida with her husband, two children and much-loved dog. She’s a Carlow University graduate and has over 10 years of bookkeeping experience, with a specialty in nonprofit accounting. 📚

In her personal time, Deirdre enjoys training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, being outside, and sewing. We’re so excited to add her to our team!
