If you haven't filed your 2021 tax return, the IRS encourages you to file electronically as early as possible. If you have your information together, there's no need to wait until the October extension deadline.

Filing soon and choosing direct deposit can help get a refund quicker. If you owe, filing and paying as much as you can, as soon as you can, will reduce penalties and interest.

Even if you're not required to file, you still have time to file and claim your full child tax credit or recovery rebate credit, if eligible.

Electronic filing options, including IRS Free File, are available on IRS.gov through October 17.

Now that the April filing deadline has passed, most people are spending more time thinking about summer vacations than taxes. However, summer is a great time to review withholding and see if summer plans will affect next year’s tax return. Below are some common summertime tax situations and tips to help taxpayers figure out if they apply to their tax situation.

This year’s deadline to file and pay federal income taxes has passed for most people. If a taxpayer is due a refund, there is no penalty for filing late. However, those who owe and missed the deadline without requesting an extension should file quickly to limit penalties and interest.

04/30/2022

Taxpayers with an extension can file when they are ready but most should file by October 17, 2022. Special deadline exceptions may apply for some disaster victims, certain military service members and eligible support personnel in combat zones.

You should review their federal withholding each year to make sure they're not having too little or too much tax withheld. Doing this now can help protect against facing an unexpected tax bill or penalty in 2023.

There are 3 types of Taxes:

1. TaxNow- is Like a checking account or savings account but the thing about that is you will still be taxed for having sitting money in your bank account.

2. TaxLater- is like a 401k, TSP, or pension where like if they give you 100k now you'll basically have to give them it back on your taxes in like 20 years from now

3. TaxAdvantage- is like IRA, LIFE INSURANCE, college savings plans, and also TAX-FREE

MY GOAL TO YOU IS TO BECOME TAX NOW TO TAX-FREE

📣 Path Act has lifted what is the next step❓
* Disclaimer before I continue‼ My clients have already received this email but I wanted to share with you guys here to assist; however, If I did not prepare your tax return 🛑 please reach out to your tax pro with your questions, if you self prepared I hope Turbo n Nem can assist you!

A few of you have already started seeing dates depending on your cycle code and a few of you will get dates 📆 later in the week. A huge batch of you all may see a date this morning 🙏

Key things to be aware of
* Some returns will be pulled for ID verify
* Some returns will be put on a 60 day hold so that the IRS can catch up.
* Some files will be resequenced

THE ABOVE 3 REASONS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR TAX PRO AND UNFORTUNATELY THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT‼

🧑🏿‍💻✅Where's My Refund
Guys it's just not reliable. It hasn't been for years now. The best and only way we recommend to check the status of your refund is to view your IRS Transcipt.

🚩IRS Codes
846 = Refund issued
472 = Audit
570 = Hold or Resequence

❌Now what are some reasons that there would be a hold or Audit❓
* Failure to report all income, this may be leaving off w2s, Unemployment, 1099s.
*Filing with the last check stub which did not match the w2 when it came in.😭
*You chose to spread your retirement distribution last year over three years but did not file the applicable form this year 💵
*Them kids you been carrying they mama decided she was getting all the money this year and paper filed her return on you 😆
Good luck‼
