The October tax deadline for extended tax returns is fast approaching. And the one in September is even closer if you’re operating a partnership or an S-Corp.

If you’re in the market for a different CPA for whatever reason, you don’t necessarily have to use the same professional that did your extension.

It's fire watch time. The Cenla Broadcasting camera on Texas Avenue sees the controlled burn near Melder quite well. I sent out a smoke alert on the app this morning that was targeted to those areas that were most likely to see smoke. You have to be in the area I geofence, or have to have your location set there to receive the alert since I don't want to send things to everyone.

I'm not exactly sure of the source of fire south of the Interstate 49, Highway 112 intersection. It wasn't a planned controlled burn, and that's all I know. It could most certainly (and hopefully) be an ag burn. I just wanted to give a heads up on why you are seeing smoke. I used debris tracker because it's really good at picking out smoke.
