❄️❄️ If you’re stuck inside and want to get your taxes started, no worries!! We’re fully equipped to complete your return remotely from start to finish using a secure client portal. ❄️❄️

We’re a new tax services firm right here in Pilot Mountain, owned and operated by a CPA with over 20 years of tax experience. The returns we file are covered by Tax Audit Defense and Identity Theft Restoration services.

We are preparing and filing returns on a first come basis. We accept credit/debit cards, cash, check, and Zelle. We also will have bank product options for pay-from-refund and refund advances soon. These products are still in process and are expected to be available the second week of February.

“No Tax on Overtime” — Proceed with Caution

The headlines are saying “no tax on overtime,” but this area of tax law is highly complex. The IRS has released 30 pages of guidance regarding the tips and overtime deduction.

Although they IRS has stated that no penalties will apply if a taxpayer reasonably and in good faith relies on the IRS FAQs do not mistake this as a pass if you get it wrong. This guidance applies to penalties only. Any tax and interest owed would still be due.

A friendly reminder that 1099 filings are due January 31.🛎️

If you paid $600 or more during 2025 for independent contractor services or rent, reporting may be required. This applies to business owners as well as those operating rental properties.

These are required filings that can incur penalties if not filed and/or not filed timely.

As part of our commitment to you, tax audit assistance, tax notice response, and identity theft restoration service are included with the returns we file (some exclusions apply).

We also offer a secure portal where we can work together with you virtually if you prefer.

Additional Information:

*As the IRS is no longer allowing check refunds, if you don’t have a bank account we have options for you to still receive a check or debit card for your refund (additional fees apply).

*We offer options to pay for your tax service from your refund (additional fees apply).

*Work is done on a first-come, first-served basis.

*Our goal is to have your return completed within one week from drop-off (pending IRS form availability and receiving all documents needed to complete the return).
