FinCEN.gov BOI Report Reminder: Deadline January 1, 2024
This notice serves as a reminder to all reporting companies that the FinCEN.gov Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report is due on January 1, 2024.

Who Should File?
All reporting companies created or registered to do business in the United States before January 1, 2024 must file their initial BOI report by January 1, 2025. Reporting companies created or registered on or after January 1, 2024 have 90 calendar days after receiving notice of their creation or registration to submit their initial report.

Reporting companies include:

Domestic corporations
Limited liability companies (LLCs)
Business trusts
Other legal entities created or registered to do business in the United States

How to File
BOI reports must be filed electronically through the FinCEN.gov online portal. For detailed instructions and resources, please visit the FinCEN.gov BOI webpage: https://www.fincen.gov/boi.

Information Needed:
1. Name
2. Address
3. Date of Birth
4. unique identifying number and issuing jurisdiction from
an acceptable identification document (and the image of such document, ie. Drivers License, Passport, etc.)

Important Dates:

January 1, 2024: FinCEN begins accepting BOI reports.
January 1, 2025: Deadline for reporting companies created or registered before January 1, 2024, to file their initial BOI reports.
90 calendar days after creation or registration: Deadline for reporting companies created or registered on or after January 1, 2024, to file their initial BOI reports.
