Matching smiles, matching designation. 😁😁
David and I are proud to share that we earned our AIF® last month, which stands for Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
What it means in plain terms: we've committed to following a fiduciary standard in our advisory relationships, so your interests come first when we're giving advice on advisory accounts.
This doesn't change how we work with you. It formalizes something we've done all along: acting as a fiduciary in our advisory relationships and putting your interests ahead of our own.
The designation just puts a standard and a name to it. It means we've gone through the training and committed, in writing, to a fiduciary process for how we give advice and manage advisory accounts.
If you've worked with us, none of this will feel new. That's kind of the point.
Nothing about your plan or our conversations changes. We wanted to share it because we're proud of the work behind it.
I dropped a short video in the comments that walks through what an AIF® designation actually means if you want to dig in a little more.
