I am sharing this with a very heavy heart.

For over 26 years, candy has been a part of our office and a part of our family.

When someone has been beside you through that many years, they become woven into the fabric of your everyday life.

Candy has given so much of herself over the years, and it is heartbreaking to now be facing the reality that we are losing her to cancer.

There really are no words that feel big enough for a moment like this.

26 years is a lifetime of memories, conversations, laughter, hard days, ordinary days and countless moments that you never realize are so precious until you are faced with losing the person who was a part of them.

I am sharing this GoFundMe in hopes that we can give something back to Candy during a unimaginably difficult time.

If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it would help Candy and her family.

If you are not able to donate, sharing this page and keeping Candy in your thoughts and prayers would allow so many others to be informed of Candy's journey.

Candy has spent her whole life helping and being there for others, so now it's my hope we can come together and be there for her.

Please keep Candy in your thoughts and prayers.
We love you so very much Candy Jordan

The knowledge and action to prepare for the future give you "peace of mind". The present is a gift that we enjoy, but the future is unknown, so to secure yourself and your family for the future, it is necessary to take certain steps in the present. For instance, a lot of people are not aware that a Durable Power of Attorney may be necessary, even if you are married. That way, your spouse will be able to act on your behalf if you are incapacitated.
If you act as an agent or POA for anyone, be sure to understand the Agency law of the state you live in. Consult an attorney and have them give you instructions in writing as to your responsibilities as a POA. When signing documents as a POA, always sign your name and the initials “POA” after your signature, to let others know you have permission to act. Do not sign the name of the principal. There are many kinds of Powers of Attorney.

Helping your children financially by teaching self-reliance is one of the greatest gifts you can offer your children. Through teachings and setting a good example, you can help your children become financially responsible and independent adults. However, there is a fine line between helping your kids get started and enabling them to stay dependent. If your children live at home, expect them to contribute to the household.
Here are some considerations: bit.ly/azmg0027

Holding those little ones in your arms and slowly guiding them through the path of life is surely one of the most joyous and fulfilling experiences of a lifetime. But there is no denying that it can be hard on your pocketbook. Catherine, a mother of two children aged 7 and 10, experiences this dichotomy between the pleasure of child rearing and its pinching effect on the pocketbook. So, to alleviate the effect, you must utilize the option of child and dependent care tax credits to the best of your abilities.

This week, we will discuss child and dependent care tax credits and filing Form 2441. If you have a child under the age of 13, or an incapacitated spouse or parent, you may be able to take a dependent care credit on your individual tax return. bit.ly/azmg0026

It's that time of the year when many people walk down the aisle and vow to be together till "death do us part". Both Don and Jan are excited about the upcoming event of their lives! While wedding bells ring in happiness and bliss, it also ushers in tax worries among other concerns. Summertime is the most traditional time of year for weddings. They paid a visit to their tax professional and were instructed on what to do next. Although we usually associate marriage with Love, Roses and Cake: If you're walking down the aisle, here is a checklist of TAX matters to consider: bit.ly/axmg0240

The summer internship with a financial institution of his choice has given wings to Jacob’s aspirations. He feels as if his career graph is on the runway to success, all set to take off just the way he wanted it to be. Many students, like Jacob, take a job in the summer after school lets out. If it's your first job, it gives you a chance to learn about the working world. That includes taxes we pay to support the place where we live, our state, and our nation.

Organizing documents, keeping them in order, backtracking on your investments and expenses, and all the paperwork involved might sound overwhelming to some. So, they try to escape the whole process of filing tax returns by simply ignoring the preparation or submission. It's been a month since the filing deadline, and most people have already received their tax refunds, while others on extension have yet to file their returns for last year.
Believe it or not, there are still some people who have not filed for past years and don't plan on filing their tax returns, merely because they are afraid of filing their tax returns. Many taxpayers do not know if they are due refunds or owe taxes, or they believe they owe taxes and therefore decide not to file or do anything about filing. The IRS now also gives you an opportunity to pay your taxes over time or even receive interest if a refund is due for you. But if you do not file a tax return within 3 years of when it's due, and you are entitled to a refund, the IRS will just keep it! This is just another reason to file your returns.
So, let's look at some points to remember: https://bit.ly/02200

You've got mail! But this time it's from the IRS. Always remember, there's no need to press the panic button on seeing this. Each year, the IRS sends millions of notices and letters to taxpayers for a variety of reasons. And the important thing to reiterate here is that the IRS initiates most contact through the mail. They will not initiate contact with you through social media, email, or text message to request personal or financial information! If the IRS does call or visit, you will typically have already received a letter first. So, beware and never give out your personal details to anyone who poses to be from the IRS on social media, by text, or by email. Brenda is aware of this because she called her tax professional when she received her IRS notice.
