💡 Self-employed? Freelancing? Running a business?

The IRS expects you to pay taxes throughout the year. Not just at tax time. That's where quarterly taxes come in.

📅 Quarterly Tax Due Dates:

✔️ April 15
✔️ June 15
✔️ September 15
✔️ January 15 (following year)

Missing a payment could lead to penalties and an unexpected tax bill. A little planning now can save you a lot of stress later.

💭 Quick question:

If you came to me asking for a $10,000 business loan, what do you think I'd want to know about your business?

One participant had a great answer:

📄 "I would want to see your tax returns."

And they're absolutely right.

Your tax returns can tell a lender a lot about your business from your revenue and profitability to how organized your financial records are.

But that's usually not the only thing they're looking at. 👀

💬 What else do you think a bank or lender would ask for before approving a loan?

Starting a business is exciting.

Choosing the right business structure? Not always as fun 😅 but it can have a big impact on your taxes, liability protection, and long-term growth.

That 1 million does sound good though! 🤔💰

Profit & loss is simpler than most people think. It just represents what came in and what went out.

The IRS may owe you money from COVID-era tax penalties... and many people don’t even realize it!

During and after the pandemic, the IRS issued penalties for things like:

👉 late filing
👉 late payment
👉 missed notices

In some cases, the IRS has been automatically providing relief or refunds tied to those penalties.

So what does that mean for you?

If you received IRS penalties during the COVID years, it may be worth checking:
✔ Whether you already received relief automatically
✔ Whether you qualify for penalty relief
✔ Whether you have unresolved notices or balances tied to that period

A lot of people assume once they pay a penalty, that’s the end of it — but that’s not always true.

The bigger takeaway:
Don’t ignore old IRS notices or assume there are no options available.

There may still be opportunities to resolve or reduce past penalties, especially from the pandemic years. Still need your taxes filed? Schedule a consultation on our website!
