Job Description:

- Bookkeeping duties include preparation of payroll, payroll tax and sales tax filings, and accounts payable for various clients. Typing, filing and various administrative duties. Will assist with office receptionist duties by answering the phone and greeting clients. Full-Time hours. Need professional, detail-oriented individual with good customer service skills.

Staff Accountant

Job Duties:

- Full-time opening for staff accountant. Duties include individual and business income tax return preparation, small business accounting, preparation of financial statements, and assisting with audits. Special consideration will be given to CPA's and/or individuals with related experience.

As the IRS starts rolling out Child Tax Credit payments next month, you have the option to unenroll.

As we enter the advanced payments for the Child Tax Credit, we would like to remind everyone that this is an ADVANCE on the Child Tax Credit and is NOT an additional stimulus payment.

If eligible, you may qualify for a credit totaling $3600 for a child 5 years old and under and $3000 for children 6-17 years of age. You could receive an advance of one half of these amounts distributed monthly ($300/month for children 5 and under of $250/month for children 6-17). This advance credit begins to phase out at income levels of $150,000/year for married filing jointly, $112,500/year for head of household, and $75,000/year for single.

We want to remind everyone THIS IS AN ADVANCE. If you take the ADVANCE, be aware that your refund may go down as a result. In some cases, this may end up causing some individuals to owe at the end of the year. We advise that you talk to your Tax Advisor to see what works best for your personal situation.
