Congratulations to Formeka Ball for earning the title of Ambassador of the Month. We can always count on her to attend ribbon cutting ceremonies and volunteer her time for events. Formeka is the owner of Ball Tax and Accounting Services in Pearl and is also an active member of the Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County. She invites her JA friends to help with behind the scenes work that no one ever sees. They are truly a hard working group of ladies. Formeka received a $25 gift certificate from the Alumni House Sports Bar and Grill and a treat box from The Blue Feather! Thank you Formeka! 😘

Let me share some knowledge:
ZELLE IS NOT A 3RD PARTY
MERCHANT. Therefore they do not report to the IRS.
There was an uproar when the IRS announced that 3rd party merchants had to report payments of $600+ on a 1099-K.
First of all you should be reporting all of your income, but I digress😬
What is a 3rd Party Merchant:
A third party merchant account allows you to accept credit and debit card payments through an
"aggregate merchant account"...aka a middle man for businesses and customers/clients.
Some of the most common merchants are:
PayPal
Venmo
Square
Stripe
Shopify
Income, regardless of how you receive it, IS NOT TAX FREE MONEY...
