The form of payment for the 2nd Economic Impact Payments may be different than for the 1st. Some people who got a check last time might get a prepaid debit card now. IRS urges you to check your mail: EIPcard.com

Start of the 2020 tax season

The IRS will begin receiving 2020 income tax returns on Feb. 12.

Finally got notice.. IRS will begin the filing season and accept tax returns as of February 12, 2021 for the 2020 filing season... the latest round of stimulus checks were to be sent out by today, January 15th!
