Last week, the team attended our monthly luncheon for the Financial Planning Association of San Gabriel Valley.

In addition to a delicious lunch and some great networking, we learned all about 1031 exchanges and Delaware Statutory Trusts. Thanks to Jason Hayes from Cantor Fitzgerald for the fantastic presentation!

Let us know if you want to get more involved with FPA, or if you want to talk more about 1031s or DSTs!

These are some of the most common questions we hear from clients.

How do I buy a home?
Should I focus on paying off debt or saving for retirement?
Am I behind compared to others?

The reality is that everyone’s financial situation is different, and the right answers depend on your unique goals, income, and priorities. There is no universal path to financial success, only the one that is built for you.

Having a clear, personalized plan can help you make these decisions with confidence instead of uncertainty.

If you’ve been asking yourself these questions, we’re here to help. Reach out to start a conversation about building a plan that fits your life.

This is how Brandon approaches financial planning.

He starts by truly understanding each client, listening to their goals, concerns, and what they want their life to look like. From there, he provides thoughtful guidance, helping clients navigate both major life decisions and everyday financial questions.

His focus is on creating clarity and structure, so clients feel organized, supported, and confident in their financial decisions, allowing them to focus on what matters mos

Many artists feel that financial planning isn’t meant for them. It can seem overwhelming or disconnected from the realities of creative work.

In reality, artists often face more complex financial situations, with income that is project-based, seasonal, and unpredictable. That’s exactly why having a plan is so important.

Financial planning does not require a perfect or consistent income. It requires a strategy that works with how you earn.

One simple place to start is tracking your income. Not just how much you make, but when you receive it. Understanding your cash flow can provide clarity, improve decision-making, and create a stronger foundation for saving and planning.

If you’re an artist looking for guidance, we’re here to help. Reach out to start the conversation or learn more about how we support creatives.

“Don’t let emotions drive decisions.”

Fear and excitement can often lead to reactive choices that don’t align with long-term financial goals. While these emotions are natural, they are not effective guides for making sound investment decisions.

A disciplined financial plan provides structure and consistency, helping you stay focused even during periods of uncertainty. Maintaining that discipline is key to making thoughtful, informed decisions over time.

Have you ever looked back and realized a financial decision was driven more by emotion than by strategy?

We’ve been seeing a lot of headlines about the stock market reaching new all-time highs. While that may sound significant, it’s actually a fairly common occurrence.

These headlines simply indicate that the market has reached a level it has not hit before. They do not necessarily reflect the performance of an individual portfolio, the overall strength of the economy, or signal a need to change your investment strategy.

It’s important not to let headlines drive financial decisions. A well-structured financial plan, tailored to your goals and risk tolerance, should remain the primary guide.

One of our key roles as financial planners is helping clients stay focused on their plan and avoid reacting to short-term noise.
