SEVERE WEATHER THREAT UPGRADED ⛈🌪 Our entire Gulf Coast area is now under a level 4 out of 5 for the severe threat on Saturday.

As of now, it looks like storms could start as early as the afternoon with the severe threat lasting through the nighttime hours.

Main concerns remain the same: strong tornadoes, damaging winds, and hail.

Remember to bring plants and pets inside!

This is absolutely unprecedented. Winter Storm Warnings (pink) extend across most of the periphery of the Gulf Coast on this Inauguration Day/MLK Day. Pensacola can expect 1-3" of snow... however, it is not out of the question that areas near and south of I-10 could potentially see accumulations up to 5". Such totals have not occurred since records started in the 19th Century for Pensacola.
