We are still reflecting on an incredible evening at the Beyond the Power Awards Gala this past weekend in Atlanta.

As we celebrate these moments, we are especially proud of our CEO as she heads to the Maryland Top 100 Women Awards, where she will be recognized among an inspiring group of leaders making a powerful impact!

Day 5 of Money Smart Week 2026 brought us together for the Money Smart Resource Fair, and the energy in the room said it all.

With businesses, organizations, and community leaders showing up, this day was all about connection, sharing resources, and creating real opportunities. You could feel the collaboration in every conversation and see the impact in every interaction.

Seeing everyone come together, engaged and present, really captured what Money Smart Week is all about. Community, access, and moving forward together.

As we closed out the week, moments like this were a reminder that the work doesn’t happen alone. It happens together, and we’re grateful to be building something meaningful alongside you all.

Day 4 of Money Smart Week 2026 took us into the classroom for our FinLit Youth Build at Pisota PCS, the first public charter school in Prince George’s County.

Spending time with students in a space centered on learning, curiosity, and growth was a meaningful reminder of why financial literacy matters at every stage. The energy in the room was real. Students were engaged, present, and genuinely excited to be part of the conversation.

Hearing their voices come together, proudly saying “Money Smart Week,” was a moment we won’t forget. It went beyond teaching. It was about planting seeds, building confidence, and helping students see what’s possible for their future.

As we began closing out the week, our commitment to reaching every part of the community only grew, starting with the next generation.

We had the pleasure of opening Money Smart Week 2026 with The Inaugural Kickoff Roundtable Brunch…setting the tone for a week rooted in connection, intention, and opportunity.

The room was filled with driven, forward-focused individuals, and the energy was both welcoming and purposeful. From meaningful conversations to new connections being formed, this brunch created space for collaboration, growth, and shared learning.

This wasn’t just the start of the week, it was the foundation. A reminder that when we come together, we create opportunities that extend far beyond a single moment.

As we reflect, we’re grateful for every connection made and every conversation shared. This was only the beginning, and each event throughout the week continued to build on that same spirit of community and empowerment.

We’re so excited about our new partnership with and even more excited for them to bring our FinLit YouthBuild workshops to Prince George’s County youth!

This past weekend at their Keys to Connection Parent Engagement Event, our team had the opportunity to connect with families and share how we’re redefining financial freedom, through engaging FinLit workshops, student opportunities, Money Smart Week, and our very own financial literacy board game, The Money Game. A special shout out to my Youth Ambassadors, to include my college fellow behind the camera. You all are CORE’s trye siper power!

The energy in the room was everything! Parents leaning in, youth showing up curious, and conversations rooted in growth, possibility, and real support. And yes…one special parent even left one step closer to Hawaii just for sharing what matters most to her family! 💚💜

To every family that showed up and to our amazing team who continues to lead with purpose…thank you. A special shout out to my Youth Ambassadors, to include my college fellow behind the camera. You all are my true super power! These are the moments that remind us what this work is truly about.

And we’re just getting started!
