Strategic Accounting update:

I’m extremely behind on voicemails, texts and emails…. And about another week out before I work on taxes again. But… it’s for a great reason. We are upgrading all programs, hardware and software for the business. We are growing with the times… but as it’s been said before, growing pains hurt a little.

The computer upgrade finished last Friday, payroll is about 90% transfered and all data has been transferred out of the old bookkeeping program. We are hoping all remaining data is imported by the end of next week to the new program. And finally, payrolls should be finished being moved by tomorrow.

The most exciting news to most will be the upgraded tax software starting as soon as I’m caught up. It’s going to allow easier document sharing and e-signing, it’s going to make tax season more efficient for both us and our clients. Thank you for being understanding. As you all know, I hate the phone normally… it’s not personal. 😂

This last week has been full of awesomeness. We moved to our new office in Oshkosh and we are ALMOST organized! Now the hard work begins… my piles of work I’ve been neglecting during the move.

I’ll be resuming taxes starting tomorrow after I run payrolls. Phone calls will start getting returned on Wednesday. I promise… we are working our butts off to get everything done as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition. Extensions were filed for everyone that asked for them and the pile I just ran out of time to do. I’m also hoping to get to the post office tomorrow to get huge pile mailed back to customers.

Lots of changes are coming this year with the addition of an office manager to my staff. Everyone who knows me knows how bad I am at returning calls and texts. Guess what?!?! I now have a fantastic addition to the team that’s going to do just that amongst a whole lot more! 🎉

Although tax season is ending tomorrow… I’m officially done filing extensions and will get to the rest after the move to the new office. We have a stack that’s going out in the mail tomorrow, & another that are ready for pickup at both locations.

If I’ve got your stuff… they are either done or extensions are filed. Please hold your calls till next week is over. The move is going to take us a couple days to get situated.

This year I’ve decided to do a holiday gift card blitz from November 18th through November 22nd 2023.

Mark it on your calendar… this only happens every few years!

For every $50 in Gift cards purchased, you’ll get an additional $10 gift card. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash after purchase, but will be honored at either location.

I’ll be accepting Cash, Venmo, PayPal and credit cards. There will be a 3.5% credit card processing fee on all credit card transactions. There will not be additional fees on CashApp, Venmo or PayPal transactions. All gift cards will be mailed to you after payment clears.
