IRS will start accepting income tax returns on between Jan. 24-Jan. 31, 2022. IRS may delay start of tax season by a week or so. Returns with EITC or CTC may have refunds delayed until March to verify credits.

The IRS will be sending out stimulus checks and child tax credit letters on January 19, 2022.

DO NOT THROW THESE LETTERS AWAY ‼️

Stimulus checks will be letter 6475
Child Tax Credit Letters will be letter 6419

These letters will provide the total amount of advance Child Tax Credit payments that were disbursed to you during 2021.

⚠️ if you file your taxes without these letters your tax return MIGHT go under a manual review and your refund will be delayed ⚠️

Please wait until AFTER you receive your letters to file your 2021 tax return to avoid any discrepancies or having to file an amendment.
