🎯 Most of us chase one bottom line. What if we pursued three?
Earlier this month, I attended Pete Ochs’s High Impact Workshop—and it fundamentally shifted how I see generational wealth and stewardship.
THE TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE:
🎯 Economic Capital — Creating jobs and flourishing
🤝 Social Capital — Building authentic relationships and belonging (this is where transformation happens)
⛪ Spiritual Capital — Anchoring purpose to something greater than ourselves
Here’s what struck me most:
At a maximum-security prison, 70 inmates work for Seat Kings earning $25+/hour—not $0.50/day. Walking the production floor, I expected desperation. Instead, I saw camaraderie, genuine accountability, men who believed their work mattered. The recidivism rate? 10x lower than the national average. They were treated as humans with dignity.
Trinity Academy serves 615 students. Yes, 100% college acceptance. Yes, merit scholarships averaging 30 college credits before graduation. But families choose it for one reason: the culture. The sense of belonging. The genuine community.
Capital III’s succession? Pete didn’t pass down ownership. He created a Perpetual Purpose Trust binding future leaders to stewardship—accountable for employee flourishing, community impact, and societal good—not personal wealth maximization.
The pattern: When social capital—belonging, dignity, authentic relationships—is the connective tissue, economic and spiritual capital flourish naturally.
This is generational stewardship.
Most wealth transfers end in conflict because we default to profit-maximization. What if yours activated high-impact lives for your descendants AND their communities?
