For all of my legacy builders, I want to remind you to REST. Rest is essential for us to be our best, both mentally and financially. Scientific studies show that adequate rest improves cognitive function, boosts creativity, and enhances memory. It also reduces stress and the risk of mental health issues. Prioritizing rest can lead to better decision-making and increased productivity, ultimately benefiting your financial well-being. So, make sure to take time to recharge—your mind and wallet will thank you.

Here is my photo dump for the Essence Festival! It's amazing how time flies—it feels like just last week I was there. Now, I'm gearing up for my next adventure. Over the years I have learned that whether you're taking a staycation or a long-distance vacation you have to prepare.

For my legacy family, here are three effective ways to save for your next trip:

Set a Savings Goal: Determine how much you need for your trip and set a specific savings target. Break it down into manageable weekly or monthly amounts.

Cut Back on Non-Essentials: Identify areas in your budget where you can cut back, such as dining out, subscription services, or impulse buys. Redirect those savings toward your travel fund.

Automate Your Savings: Set up an automatic transfer to a dedicated travel savings account. This way, you’ll consistently save without even thinking about it.
