A surprising 26 million people in the United States do not have a credit score, according to data from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

These individuals are considered “credit invisible” to lenders because their credit reports contain only basic personal information without any credit history.

To have a credit score, a consumer needs active credit accounts like credit cards, installment loans, or mortgages reported to the credit bureaus.

Did you receive a 1099-NEC?

You are considered self-employed for tax filing purpose whether you worked for someone or had your own business.

You will need to report your business income once you have earned over $600. You report this income on a Schedule C with any related expenses.

Failing to report all income could lead to serious consequences like penalties and interest.

Hello Taxpayers; please do not leave any of your hard earned money or tax credits on the table. I have a new client who obviously didn’t know that even though she didn’t work for the entire year in 2023 and have three children thst she qualify for a tax refund. Maximum Solutions Financial Services LLC was formed in July of 2016 to fulfill a need in the community. The owner and CEO of the company Lotoya Jean realized that many people she associated with was hardly making it and needed advise on credit, finances, understanding their taxes, tax law and money management. With a background in financing and banking she took on the initiative to help her clients develop ways and strategies that would bring positive changes in their finances and also changes in their overall life.

Lotoya Jean is also an immigrant who migrated from Jamaica she realized that many immigrants didn't understand the system or steps necessary to get their lives in order or file for their alien relatives. She wanted to assist other immigrants and teach them the necessary steps or processes of the United States to becoming a legal citizen. She uses her expertise and experience to bring families together from different diasporas.

As a Business Consultant and Entrepreneur Lotoya aims to help her audience and clients eradicate the poor mindset and develop strategies to kill generational curses once and for all.
