As you get ready to file your taxes please take the time to make sure that you have all of your employment documents for the entire year. Ex. W2's, 1099's, 1099g etc.

If you pulled money from a retirement plan be sure that you have received your 1099r for that distribution.

If you own a home wait for your 1098.

If you receive social security wait for your SSA 1099.

If you went to college wait for your 1098T- this is a big one.

If you have children and paid for after school care or daycare wait for your statement from the provider.

The main point of this post is to advise you to be patient and make sure that you don't leave off any important documents when filing your taxes this year. Your tax professional needs to see the whole picture to do their best work for you and this will eliminate you spending additional money on an Amendment.
