Security camera catches a “thief” with the sweetest surprise. For years, a man ran a small corner store where a crow visited him almost every day. The bird would perch by the window, wait for scraps, and follow him around like an old friend.

When the man left for vacation for a month, he figured the crow would hang around near its usual nesting spot. What he didn’t know was what the bird had been doing the entire time.
After returning, he checked the security footage he’d set up outside the store. That’s when he saw it.

The crow had been visiting daily, swooping in with dollar bills it scavenged from around the neighborhood. Over time, it piled them neatly in the same corner, almost like it was saving up for him. When he went to check, the little stash was still there.

He laughed, realizing his feathery friend hadn’t just stuck around… it had been waiting, and saving, the whole time.
