Austin Williams was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, attending Burke High School before achieving his dream of walking on to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln football team. His determination and passion for the game allowed him to play in 36 games over five years, earn an athletic scholarship, and become
a 3x Husker Letterman. Surrounded by some of the nation’s best coaches, professionals, and athletes, Austin developed skills that served him well both on and off the field. After graduating with a Finance Degree from UNL in December 2014, Austin transitioned from his NFL aspirations to a career in finance, beginning at Smith Hayes Wealth Management in Lincoln, NE. Following his success there and recruitment by some of the nation's top investment firms, Austin joined TD Ameritrade as a Financial Consultant, where he consistently ranked among the firm’s top representatives in providing investment guidance to clients. Attaining the prestigious CFP® designation was of utmost importance to Austin and in 2018 he became one of the youngest Certified Financial Planners in Nebraska history. It was always a vision of Austin's to work with his role model/father, Rodney Williams, who has 25+ years in the financial services industry. Austin specializes in retirement planning, money management strategies, estate planning, and holistic financial planning. Austin and his wife, Ann, have four children—Josie, Remi, Chloe, and Walker. His guiding principles are Faith, Family, Fitness, Financials, and Fun. Outside of family and work, Austin enjoys golfing, fishing, skiing, and coaching wrestling.
