To avoid a late filing, penalty be sure to file an return or request an extension by April 15, even if you can’t pay the full amount owed. See: www.irs.gov/extensions

If you already know April 15th is too soon for you to be ready to file your taxes AND you will be needing an EXTENSION, then let us go ahead and take care of that for you!

Filing an EXTENSION extends the filing deadline to October 15th. This is an EXTENSION to file, not to pay if you owe. When filing an extension you also have the option to pay in to avoid late fees and penalties.
