If you worked overtime in 2025, save you last paystub of the year (not if you got paid in January for December, the last stub that shows your YTD OT hours) save it with your tax documents and give it to your tax preparer. They might need it, they might not but if they do, you won’t have to look for it.
Also, there is a lot of mis information out there about ‘no tax on OT/no tax on tips / no tax on Social Security’ if you do your own taxes, do your research. A portion of the OT is taxable, tips are only not taxed for certain jobs, and so on

It tells the story of how healthy your business actually is. It’s a list of your companies assets (what you own), liabilities (what you owe) and equity (value of an owner’s interest in a company after subtracting all liabilities from total assets)

As the year wraps up, this is your gentle reminder 👇

Your numbers don’t magically reset on January 1.

If 2025 felt messy financially, it’s not a failure — it’s feedback.

Messy numbers usually mean:
• The business grew faster than the systems
• Bookkeeping became “I’ll deal with it later”
• Taxes felt stressful instead of strategic
