We work to revitalize neighborhoods, build affordable and sustainable housing solutions, and empower families through successful homeownership. Since 1986, we have partnered with volunteers, the community, and qualified families with limited incomes to strengthen communities in Alameda, Contra Costa, and Santa Clara Counties.

How is a Build-A-Thon Build Day different than any other build day? Glad you asked!

1. It's the people! The Habitat community - both new and regulars to site - come from around the Bay Area (and some from across the country!) to make new friends and see familiar faces!

2. The skills you'll learn. If you don’t know the difference between a table saw and a miter saw, you’re in the right place. We’ll teach you everything you need to know!

3. The change you'll see happen on site. At Build-A-Thon, you’ll make a difference you’ll see.
By the end of day 3 you’ll see 10 townhomes framed and ready for roofs. On day 1 site will be blank foundations. By the end of day 3 you’ll see 10 townhomes framed and ready for roofs.

4. The impact your time and fundraising will make. Build-A-Thon participants donate their time and support to fund and build weeks of progress in just 3 days! This means 10 families move closer to the start of a new life living in a stable, healthy home.

5. The fun you'll have! Build-A-Thon is a fan favorite for a reason. While all Habitat build days are a good time, Build-A-Thon brings bigger energy, food, t-shirts, and games to the construction site!
