Join us in welcoming our 2026 summer interns, Conner Schaeffer and Sydney Downing, to the Payne Nickles team!

Conner is excited to meet and learn from accounting professionals while seeing how what he’s learned in the classroom applies to the real world. Outside of work, he’s a big soccer fan and supports Manchester United.

Sydney is looking forward to experiencing accounting beyond the classroom and gaining a better understanding of what life after graduation could look like. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time near the lake in Sandusky, whether she’s kayaking, fishing, watching sunsets, or walking her dog downtown.

We’re excited to have Conner and Sydney with us this summer and look forward to supporting their growth along the way.
